Serenity Trails is a 17 lot single family residential plat project consisting of two phases within the City of Marysville, WA. The project was contracted, designed, permitted and constructed with final plat recorded in less than 1 calendar year. This highlights SGE’s ability to design projects and coordinate their permitting to meet client timelines and needs.

Some unique design complexities included proximity of the infill development to existing infrastructure on 3 of the 4 sides of the project as well as negotiation with existing utility companies to obtain easements for existing infrastructure. The project design included a detention pond with concrete side walls. In lieu of an underground detention system, the pond approach saved the client money and time, allowing project construction to occur more quickly than initially anticipated and at less cost than initial feasibility estimates.
